Corporate art B2B

Corporate art and live painting for your event

You invite your clients. The room is booked, the catering is arranged, the invitations have gone out. And then the evening runs like every other one: people greet each other, eat, talk business and leave again.

What is missing is a reason to remember. After three weeks nobody recalls whose guest they were in November.

Live painting changes that. Joe Muczka jr. paints in front of your guests. They do not see a finished picture, they see it come into being. They stand there, they talk about it while it happens, and they tell others afterwards.

On request the work is created not on canvas but on a person. Body painting is the version people still talk about the next day and a year later. That is not an item on the programme, it is a shared emotional moment, and it binds those present to the house that made it possible. Client loyalty is not built on information, but on experiences people do not forget.

Joe Muczka jr. has worked this way since 1996. More than 500 vernissages and events are documented. JTP Active Invest AG has represented him exclusively since 2025 and organises the framework.

Four company pictures from the artist's body of work. Each was made for one company, out of its history, its product and its corporate identity. One like this can be created for your house too; how that works is set out below under «Your route to a company picture».

What we offer

Three routes: you choose the depth

From the simplest entry point to a piece of company art of your own. In every case the contracting party is JTP Active Invest AG.

Vernissage at the Kaiserštejnský palác, Prague, October 2017: a small circle, works on easels, the artist in conversation.

Live painting or body painting at an event you already have

You already have the date: year-end event, anniversary, client evening, general meeting. We bring the artist. He paints in front of your guests, as a rule between 20 and 90 minutes, depending on how much room your evening allows.

Your guests experience something they will not see again in that form. That is exactly what sticks, and it stays attached to your name.

You need an open area, light and a power socket. Your programme stays as it is, or we build it together.

Price on request Expenses and materials charged separately at actual cost.

Your own event with the artist

We shape the evening with you: a vernissage at your premises, at a client's, or at a place of your choosing. Works by Joe Muczka jr. stand on easels and display walls around the room, painting takes place live, and the artist talks to your guests about his work.

You bring the purpose, the guests and the room. We bring the artist, the works, the concept and the follow-up.

Price on request Expenses and materials charged separately at actual cost.

Company art with an event Licence 2

A commissioned work for your company: a motif that belongs to you, in your format, for your space. Your corporate identity and your philosophy flow into the design and the execution. The work passes into your ownership.

On request this is joined by the event module: a vernissage with the artist at which the finished work is unveiled and handed over, and at which live painting can also take place.

From CHF 25'000 excluding VAT for the commissioned work and the rights of use Open at the top; the price depends on format, effort and motif. The handover by the artist at your event is part of the event module, which we quote separately; the fee for it is waived if we may collect the contact details of interested guests at the event. Expenses and materials at actual cost.

That is licence 2. You use the motif permanently, for as long as your company exists: printed matter, merchandise, your own products, with no limit on quantity. Industrial use falls under licence 3, which is agreed individually.

How a work opens a conversation and what live painting in front of an audience sets off. The arc runs from the private room to the corporate event.

Craft and live painting

Why the live painting is not finished that evening

This concerns the work created in front of an audience at your evening, not the company picture; that one is completed in the studio and handed over finished at the event. A work created in front of an audience is not finished the same evening, and there is a craftsman's reason for it, which we state openly because it explains the quality.

The paint is still wet that evening. Three steps then follow, always in this order: the work dries through completely, then it is photographed, and only at the very end comes the sealing varnish. The order is no accident. The varnish reflects in flash light and distorts the photographs of the work, and we need those photographs for the certificate, the work dossier and every later use of the motif. Only with the varnish does a picture show its final brilliance.

For you that means: anyone who wishes to take over the work created on your evening reserves it at the event. Completion, documentation and delivery follow afterwards. If nobody comes forward, the work returns to the artist's archive.

Who it is for

Whom this is intended for

Companies with client events

If you invite people once a year anyway, this is the simplest entry: the same date, the same budget for the room, an evening people remember.

Institutions that may not advertise

Notaries, law firms, hospitals and practices are bound by professional codes of conduct. An evening with an artist is a cultural occasion. How far your house is mentioned is your decision. The laudation is agreed by both sides. Whether this is compatible with your professional rules is for you to judge; we follow your instruction.

Producers with their own products

A motif by Joe Muczka jr. on a limited edition of your own product, designed for a particular occasion, in a defined run.

Properties that are for sale

A viewing is an appointment. An evening on which a work is created in these rooms is an experience. Turn your property into an experience, a place that prospective buyers remember. Invite the people you want to reach.

How it runs

How an evening unfolds

No two events are alike, but there is a sequence that has proved itself. From it you assemble what suits your house.

  1. Reception

Your guests arrive and are offered a welcome drink. No programme, just arriving.

  2. Welcome and laudation

You as the host speak to your guests. It is your evening and your house. You give the laudation yourself, or someone from your house does, or we give it together. If you wish, Thomas Schär, Chairman of the Board of JTP Active Invest AG, takes this part, introduces the artist and explains what will happen during the evening. Who says what is agreed together beforehand. The raffle is announced here as well.Around 10 to 15 minutes

  3. Free viewing

The works stand on easels and display walls around the room. Your guests move from picture to picture, and what usually has to be laboured into existence at a business event happens by itself: a conversation that starts on its own.15 to 20 minutes

  4. Live painting or body painting

The high point. Joe Muczka jr. works in front of your guests, on canvas or directly on a model. Nobody looks at their phone while it happens. Body painting takes at most 30 minutes; live painting on canvas can run longer if your evening allows the room.20 to 90 minutes

  5. Signing session

The artist takes time for your guests and signs. On request we design cards or flyers for this, together with you, with a motif from his work and a link to your event and your company. That way nobody goes home empty-handed.Around 40 minutes, depending on the number of guests

  6. Raffle

More than a draw: it holds the evening together. Whoever takes part stays to the end. Nobody leaves before they know whether they have won.

You help shape the raffle. In the simple case we put together three to ten prizes: limited art prints that Joe Muczka jr. individually reworks into unique pieces, products from your own house or, if the event takes place in a hotel, overnight stays and vouchers.

You can also go further and set aside a budget of your own for the prizes. With it we stock the raffle with original works by Joe Muczka jr., each with a work dossier and an expert valuation. What your guests can then win is not a promotional gift but a documented original with an assessed valuation figure. You may say so in your welcome, announce it in the invitation and communicate it afterwards. It is your event and your generosity.

To take part, your guests fill in a form with name, address, e-mail and telephone number. After the event these contacts are available to both sides: to you for your client relationships, to us for ours. That is our share in the evening, and the reason why the artist's fee can be waived in a co-operation.

  7. Open ending

After that there is time. Experience shows this is the hour in which the conversations arise that you invited people for.

Merchandising with your motif

If you commission a company picture, the motif can be used further: on products, on packaging, in the reception area or on the façade. How far this can go is shown by a documented example from the artist's work: the motif «Dragonfly» became the template for an issue of 5'000 fine gold bars of one gram each and, as a large-format picture, marked a pavilion at the PVA Expo Prague.

Documentation

Every work is documented

Every original work, your company picture included, comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed by hand by the artist. A work dossier either already exists or is drawn up on request. On request we additionally have an expert valuation prepared: an independent expert assesses the work and records a valuation figure as at the reference date, with a number and a date.

A valuation figure is a professional assessment as at the reference date, not a guarantee. It is something other than our offer price and something other than the price at which a work actually changes owner. We keep these three figures apart. The insured value is not a fourth figure but the decision as to which of these values a work is insured for: partly with the insurer, partly with the owner, to be examined case by case.

How a work is acquired, what role provenance plays and how the handover proceeds is set out on the page Original art with an expert valuation.

Planning

Lead time

We hold few events a year, because every one of them is carried by Joe Muczka jr. in person. For an appearance at an event you already have we reckon on about two to four weeks' lead time, for an evening designed from scratch on six to eight weeks, and that also applies when a company picture is part of it. A company art project takes several weeks from the first meeting to the handover.

Year-end events are planned in late summer and early autumn. If you want to send out your invitations in November, it makes sense to talk to us now.

Not quite there yet?

The counter-calculation to your client retention budget

Before you talk to us, you can do the arithmetic yourself. The guide sets three variants side by side: a client event, sponsoring and a company picture, each calculated on CHF 30'000, item by item, and shows what is left after three years. The counter-calculation is available in German, Czech and English.

Including the six points at which our own model is weak. Illiquidity, no guaranteed resale value, the risk of taste, follow-up costs and the questions your fiduciary will ask. Six pages, no winner, six questions with which you can decide without us.

We do not run a newsletter. We use your address to send you the counter-calculation and, only with the tick above, for invitations as well. No passing on to third parties, no other use. More in our privacy policy.

Client event, golf tournament, 40 guests0 %
Sponsoring, 3 years at CHF 10'0000 %

Here, too, a part is consumed: the event module is one evening, and depending on the variant the licence expires. The event module is not part of licence 2, it is quoted separately. The guide shows which franc goes where. All amounts are assumptions for illustration and not offers.

Frequently asked questions

What hosts ask us

What does an event with the artist cost?

The company picture under licence 2 starts at CHF 25'000 excl. VAT for the commissioned work and the rights of use and has no upper limit; the price depends on format, effort and motif. That is the commissioned work itself.

The handover by the artist at your event is part of the event module, which we quote separately; the fee for it is waived if we may collect the contact details of interested guests at the event. The same module applies to an appearance at an event you already have and to an evening designed from scratch: both are quoted according to the effort involved, price on request.

Expenses and materials are added separately in every case, at actual cost and with travel from the artist's place of residence. Binding prices are stated exclusively by JTP Active Invest AG, in writing in the offer.

Can the artist appear at an event we already have?

Yes. You have the date, we bring the artist for 20 to 90 minutes of live painting or body painting. You need a free surface, light and a power connection; your programme stays as it is, or we build it together. This is the simplest entry point, because you have to change neither the room nor the date.

What happens to the picture created at our event?

That depends on the route chosen. If the artist appears at an event you already have, the work created is not finished that same evening: the paint is still wet, and every work is finally coated with sealing varnish after the photo session. Anyone who wishes to take it over reserves it at the event; completion and delivery follow afterwards. If nobody comes forward, it goes back into the artist's archive. With a commissioned work within company art, the work belongs to you from the outset. In both cases, on acquisition you receive the original with the work details and a confirmation of authenticity from JTP Active Invest AG; the exploitation rights to the motif are settled by contract.

Is anything sold at our event?

Nothing is transacted at the event itself. If a guest wishes to acquire a work, it is reserved and noted for them; everything else, that is the contract, the payment and the handover, happens calmly after the event. With a work from the live painting there is the additional point that it can only be delivered after drying, the photo session and the sealing varnish. If you want an evening at which works can actually be acquired, that is a different route. Talk to us about it.

We are not allowed to advertise. Is it still possible?

You set the framework, we follow it. An evening with an artist is first of all a cultural occasion, but the laudation at the handover of the work is agreed by both sides, and your house and its purpose may well be named in it. How far that goes is your decision. Nothing is sold at the event in any case; interest is noted and discussed afterwards. Whether this is compatible with the professional code of your occupation is for you to judge. We keep to your requirements regarding appearance, labelling and photography.

How much lead time does an event need?

For an appearance at an existing event we reckon on about two to four weeks, for an evening designed from scratch on six to eight weeks, and that also applies when a company picture is part of it. A company art project takes several weeks from the first meeting to the handover. We deliberately hold few events a year, because every one of them is carried by the artist in person.

What is body painting, and does it suit our event?

In body painting the artist paints a model in front of an audience instead of a canvas. The same way of working, a different carrier. The appearance lasts at most 30 minutes. Whether it suits your audience depends on your guests; for reserved settings we agree the depiction, the clothing and the photography bindingly beforehand. In case of doubt we recommend live painting on canvas. The effect on the guests is the same.

What is live painting?

The artist paints a work in front of an audience while the event is running, as a rule for 20 to 90 minutes. The guests see it come into being, not the finished picture. It is an appearance, not a demonstration technique: what is created is an original and is documented as such.

Who provides the model for the body painting?

Either is possible. Either you as the host provide the model, or we arrange one and charge for it separately. In both cases it is recorded in writing beforehand what will be shown and whether and how photographs may be taken. No pictures are taken without the model's consent.

What is the raffle and why is it worth it for us?

The raffle is an item on the programme in its own right, not an accessory. It makes sure your guests stay to the end, and it is the moment at which contact details are left willingly and with pleasure. You help shape it: from a simple selection of limited art prints through to original works with a work dossier and an expert valuation, if you set aside a budget for it. The entry forms record name, address, e-mail and telephone number; after the event the contacts are available to you and to JTP Active Invest AG.

Who gives the welcome speech?

You do. It is your evening and your house. Thomas Schär, Chairman of the Board of JTP Active Invest AG, speaks afterwards, introduces the artist and explains the course of the evening. Who says what, and how far your company is mentioned in the process, is agreed together beforehand. The speeches take around 10 to 15 minutes in total.

What happens at the signing session?

Joe Muczka jr. takes time for your guests and signs. On request we design cards or flyers for this, together with you, with a motif from his work and a link to your event. Your guests then go home not with a promotional item but with a signed piece that recalls the evening.

Who brings what?

You bring the purpose, the guests, the room, the welcome drink and the catering, as well as staff for reception and organisation. We bring the artist, the works including transport and setting up, display walls, materials, the artistic concept, the care of your guests at the raffle and the signing session, photographs and film, and the design of the invitations. Expenses and materials are shown separately in the quotation so that you can see what is included.

Where does the event take place?

On your premises. It is meant to be your event and to put your company at the centre. Throughout Switzerland, on request across Europe; our focus is Switzerland and the German-speaking countries. JTP Active Invest AG has its seat in Sursee; the work is done from the Schwarzenbach studio and the Prague studio.

How many guests is an event suited to?

In a closed circle, 50 to 150 invited guests work well. Large enough for atmosphere, small enough for real conversations. There is no upper limit if the room allows it. For catering, experience shows that hosts plan for up to about 100 people; beyond that we agree the course of the evening and the support separately.

How long does a company art project take?

From the first meeting to the handover we reckon on several weeks. That includes the conversation about motif and format, first drafts within three to seven working days, your approval, the execution in the studio and the event at which the work is handed over.

Can we use the company picture for advertising later on?

Yes, that is the heart of licence 2. With a commissioned work created exclusively for your company, you receive the original and with it the rights to use the motif in all media: print, digital, trade fairs, the reception area, products, and that without any time limit, for as long as your company exists. If instead you choose an existing original work from the collection, you licence the motif: the work itself initially remains in the holdings, and the rights of use are limited in time by contract. A private acquisition of the work is possible, but it is regulated separately and is never automatically included.

Can we use the motif on products?

Yes, if you commission a company picture. The motif then belongs to your company and can be used further without any time limit: on printed matter and packaging, in the reception area, on the façade, and on everything you put into your clients' hands. Mugs, mouse mats, T-shirts, bags, calendars: a company picture becomes an entire line of gifts that nobody else has.

A collector's edition of your own is particularly effective. One company divided the photograph of its company picture into several details and made a series of client gifts out of them: a new detail every year. Whoever had the first one wanted the second as well. After seven years the series was completed with the full motif. The result is a company's own edition that clients wait for, and a client relationship that carries over years instead of over a single evening.

If instead of a commissioned work you choose an existing original work from the collection, you licence the motif for a contractually agreed period; the work itself initially remains in the holdings.

What applies to large print runs and industrial products?

For a company picture under licence 2 there is no limit on the number of items. It is your motif, created for your company, and you use it permanently for as long as your company exists: printed matter, merchandise, products of your own, in the quantity you need. A large company may produce more than a small one, and nobody counts.

The limit of 100 items per product and year belongs to licence 1, the single motif licence from the online shop. It does not apply to the company picture.

For industrial use, licence 3 applies: series and industrial production, packaging for drinks and food, art prints for sale. Licence 3 is negotiated individually and settled in a contract of its own. Talk to us before you plan a production run.

What is car design?

A vehicle is wrapped with a motif by Joe Muczka jr. Your own car, a show car or an entire special edition. You choose a motif from his existing work or have one designed for you. The wrapping is carried out by certified partner workshops. For car dealerships this is a limited design edition; for any other company it is a corporate vehicle nobody overlooks.

Do we get photographs and film?

Yes, and it works both ways. We accompany the event with photographs and film of our own, and you usually record it as well. As a rule we exchange the material afterwards, so that both sides have everything. If you wish, we can also take on the documentation in full as a commission. If guests are recognisable in the pictures, we agree beforehand how you want that handled.

Do you design the invitations too?

Yes. We design the invitations digitally and in print, matched to your visual identity and to the event. On request we handle the printing through our partner printer at preferential terms. Sending them out and the guest list stay with you. They are your clients.

Do you bring guests of your own?

If you wish, yes. We additionally invite contacts from our own circle if you want to broaden the evening. If you prefer to stay exclusively among your own guests, that goes without saying too. You decide who stands in your house.

What is an expert valuation?

An independent expert examines a work and records a valuation figure as at a particular reference date, together with details of technique, condition and work data. The valuation carries a number and a date, in our case for example no. 220-04/2026 of 21 April 2026.

A valuation figure is a professional assessment as at the reference date, not a guarantee. It is something other than our offer price and something other than the price at which a work actually changes owner. We keep these three figures apart. A work can be insured either for the valuation figure or for the purchase price paid. That is your decision and your insurer's.

How is payment made?

For a company picture from CHF 25'000 you make a down payment when the order is placed. From CHF 50'000 we work with the 50/50 model: half when the order is placed, half on handover of the finished work. All prices are exclusive of VAT. Before any commitment you receive a written quotation from JTP Active Invest AG; binding prices are stated exclusively by the AG.

What expenses are added?

Expenses and materials are always charged separately at actual cost. They include travel from the artist's place of residence and, for events lasting several days or further away, accommodation and meals. These costs are borne by the client; they are itemised in the quotation so that you can see beforehand what is coming. Our focus is Switzerland and the German-speaking countries; events elsewhere in Europe are possible, with travel costs correspondingly higher.

Who is JTP Active Invest AG?

A Swiss public limited company with its seat in Sursee, company number CHE-304.981.405. All rights to the work of Joe Muczka jr. lie with the AG, and for every work and every event the contracting party is JTP Active Invest AG. Where the artist comes from, with whom the rights lie and where we work is set out on the page Provenance, rights and location.
